Protip: People in other parts of the World have different Views on certain matters. Especially on matters that didn't directly involve them. Likewise, if a Chinese Terrorist was caught after committing a Terrorist act in China, would we even hear about it, much less care?(Chinese secrecy aside)

I wonder if we really understand what Bin Laden's death will mean.

To a large extent its a false assumption to assume that terrorism is a cause of problems when its really just a symptom of social injustice.

But Al-Quida became not just a terrorist organization, it became the first organized international terrorist institution. And somewhat like the Mafia who put the organized to crime, Al-Quida also became an educational institution teaching terrorists tactics.

But IMHO, its a good thing to finally get Bin Laden, but sadly Zawahi is and was always the brains of the 0utfit. And if if we can get Zawari, the new idea of organized international terrorism can never be killed.

I don't understand what there is to celebrate. I'm glad he's dead, but it's not as though we won some sort of a great victory. He pretty much kicked our asses in terms of the number of Americans his organization killed and the huge amount of economic and social damage it inflicted.

It reminds me of a first person shooter game where you get killed by someone 20 times and then you get lucky and kill him once and start talking it up. You had your ass kicked 20-1. Uh, yeah, "congrats".

I really don't think there's anything to celebrate. I think people should be glad that he's dead, but I don't see how that's worthy of a celebration when you consider the score. The public celebrations strike me as being silly.

Yea, when I saw some cheerleaders up on shoulders outside the white house on CNN, I was

They were probably 8 when 9/11 happened, I don't think it is possible to get so butthurt when you are 8 that warrants a routine in front of the white house ten years later.

We already think like that when we see how terrible stuff from China is. Ford Transmission. Pretty much any tools from China are made from either brittle pot metal or super bendy low carbon steel. Put any force on anything Chinese and it either shatters or bends out of shape.
