Congrats, but it's just back to where it was a week ago, and still lower than it was a month ago. Are you day-trading or in for the long haul?

I wanted to pick it up at 9.50 but didnt get a chance. Now its up to 13 something and I'm dropping it like a hot bag of sh*t as soon as it hits 14.5.

with my terrible track record (lost 50 percent of my intial capital), i'd recommend you sell it in a short term, especially for a tech stock, and especially you doing it "just for kicks."

what do you think I should sell it at? I was planning on $20, is that too optimistic? ;)

see, i hesitate to recommend because I don't want to you to go sell it at, let's say, 15 bucks and the next day it skyrockets to 35 because Dell decides to exclusively use Geforce in all their system.

but personally, when I see 10-20% gain I will sell, retreat, and look for another stock with potential.
I made a steady 10 percent gain every two month until March of 2004 when I invest all in one stock.... which stumbled 50 percent.

moral of the story, don't put all eggs in one basket.

Volk TE's.
Thanks. :) This is OT, but I must confess that they are Volk TE37 knockoffs made by Rota called "Grids". They look almost identical (but no Volk sticker), weigh about the same (my scale said 16 lbs, quite light for 17x7.5), and cost 1/4 as much. Just cast instead of forged, but the Grids can fit the STi Brembo brake kit (future upgrade) while the TE37s can't.

Volks are ridiculously expensive, I would never buy them (even though they are extremely light)... You might as well put a big "steal me!" sticker on the car...

Yep. I had that problem with the expensive forged Momos on my old car. They cost an arm and a leg, were no more durable than any other wheel (or less, I broke one on a medium-sized pothole and it cost me more than $600 to replace it), and there were constant theft attempts on my car. It was nuts and just not worth it simply to have the brand name.

hey Vic, did you get those wheel mainly because of its lightweight-ness? i mean, if it weren't 17lbs would you have selected something else?

Well... now that the thread has been completely hijacked :) I got them because I always liked the way the Volks looked, the lightweight-ness, and the good reputation for durability, value, and service that Rota has among the Subaru community. True, they are knockoffs, but they are IMO knockoffs so good that spending the big bucks for the real thing doesn't make much sense for a daily driver (but would say if it was a show car, which it's not).
But to answer your question directly, had they weighed say 20lbs or more, I would have gotten something else, so yes, the lightness was an important part of the decision. A heavy wheel/tire combo (meaning lots of unsprung weight) can be really bad for your car's performance.

15's?

My buddy has TE37's on his Z and they look sweet. They match the color of his calipers (obviously Brembos).

Hey Vic, I'll be the first to tell you there's nothing wrong with knockoff wheels. You find me a real Prodrive P1 wheel with a 4 lug pattern;)

From the link in your sig, you already have 4-lug Rota Subzeros in what looks like 17" on your car right now. Those are very light at 15 lbs. and are considered very nice Racing Hart CP knockoffs. Why would you get Volks in 15"?

edit: NutBucket, I keep telling you... Prodrive wheels are for Scoobies, not Hondas ;):p
