Bypass surgery is a serious mofo... my father had a quintuple bypass done a couple months ago... and let me tell you, that procedure is rough both on the patient and on the family. Lets all hope for a speedy recovery for the guy, whether you liked him or not...

 for the president...

Why not? I wouldn't go have a party or anything, but no one I know would be anything even remotely close to sad because of it.

That is one of the saddest things I have read here, ever. Obviously you have a lot of maturing to do.

Sure, I'm not in the corner of my room with a bottle of Jack Daniels sobbing like a little biatch because of it. However, as a former president, but even more so as a human being, a little bit of respect is deserved.

I wish him a speedy and good recovery.

Doesn't matter... you can only have "so good" care... My father had his done in the #1 heart surgery hospital in the country... and it's still an excruciating thing to go through. Think about it... they crack open your chest and rewire your heart... No matter how good the care is... the fact remains that you know have a broken sternum, a stitched up heart, and tubes comin out of yo body.

My father also went through post-op depresssion, which is also pretty common. It's no walk in the park, president or not.

As for

Why not? I wouldn't go have a party or anything, but no one I know would be anything even remotely close to sad because of it.

absolutely pitiful... but about what I'd expect from someone driving a Miata... pvssy.

Well then so do most of my relatives, coworkers, and parent's friends. Most of the people I know that have said things like this are 40+. You should hear what my 78 year old Gramma says about him.:D

Sounds like a bunch of bitter blow-hard ignorant people... My parents are a couple of bleeding heart liberals, and everyone was still somber and respectful when Reagan announced his alzheimers. Sounds like you've got the dark helmet phenomenon going on over there.

A Perfect example why marrying ones own sister is against the law and not a good idea.

Most of my family and friends consider CLinton a scumbag at best and a traitor to his country at worst.

Good for them. You've just legitmized this. You come in saying you are dreafully ill or are about to have an intense operation. Everyone on this board forgets about you, and says we don't give a sh|t and go cry in a corner.

I can, someone has to sort through the liberal media and professors to find the truth.

Funny, some ppl would consider our current president the same. Anyway. I have a letter:

Dear Clinton,
I hope your surgery goes well and that you recover soon.

Your friend in Christ,

Ain't it the truth. Millions in the US that couldn't even begin to think about having the surgery they need and we, the people of the US get to pay for a millionaire's surgery. Makes me both sad and pissed off.
