I started that thread and it got merged into another thread. Now it says Chesebert started it, which is wrong.

BFG10K posted the original thread. BFG10K started a second thread which was then merged with the original thread.16 posts were accidently left intact in that thread of which Chesebert's was the first and those 16 have since been merged with your original thread as well. Why it still shows that second thread thread as existing I don't know. I would guess that Xenforo just didn't register the merge.

The graphics thread list and the first post of the thread show BFG10K as the OP.

So what actually happened was when the first merge attempt happened only about half of the posts got moved, leaving Chesebert's post as the first post in the rump thread. When I finished the merge it left that as a redirect. It should expire sometime today. I *think* I can expire it now if you like.

edit: i guess you're on your phone so it doesn't show this information, here's what it looks like on desktop:

note the backward carriage return, lack of views/replies counter, and N/A under latest post. it's just a redirect.
