thread deleted?? Zuni - Smilies not rendered in polls

tried making a poll in OT about "favorite smilies", and instead of redering the smilie image, it just showed as text. I posted this already in here but it seems to have been deleted (?). Is there any reason why smilies aren't enabled for poll answer items?

another question about polls -

it would be cool if you initially posted a thread topic, and wanted to make the thread have a poll, to be able to go back and edit your topic and add one. ran into this a few times, with large threaded debates about a topic, and wishing I could go back and add a poll later, but having to start a new thread instead.

Correct. They aren't. It's not a bug thats how we want it .

why do I want smilies in polls? so I can do a "favorite smilie" poll and have them work!!

and I don't see any reason for them not to work, they work in everything else. maybe so I can add a "" to a poll item to remind those who "dont get it" that that particular poll entry might be a joke.


or where you referring to why I'd like to be able to edit my original thread posts to add a poll? that one's pretty self-explainatory

Because, polls are just that polls.. ask a question get some answers.. SMILIES are for expressions when posting messages and private messages. There is no need for them in a poll. Sorry, but its just not going to happen .

okay, how about the other issue, about going back and editing a post to add a poll to an existing thread?
