some 400, some 600.

but i have a set that is 400 that is 60% egyptian cotton and 40& silk. they are the best!!

Silk ... it's fun to play on, but for actual rest, I prefer the 100% cotton myself. :p

I was mistaken. they are not 60/40...they are 75/25 and they are not 400, they are 600

King Sized.

my blankey weighs like 6-10 lbs and has a really faded tag that says

high thread count sets aren't as expensive as I thought they would be. Even for someone on a budget (i'm a student with a part time job), i could easily justify spending $100 on some quality sheets, which at amazon during certain times gets you some really really nice ones. Good sleep is an incredible feeling.
