To those that do not belong to the Awful forums, this thread is worth a read.

A guy is getting fed up because his neighbors are stealing cable, and it's taking his TV cable and internet down often.

He decides to get even and fix their wagon with an etherzapper. (Sum up - pumps 120V through the Coax)

It is presently at 35 pages, but if you have an hour or two, I recomend the whole thread is read.

Suffice to say, he follows through with his plan and it may have undesirable and unexpected after effects.

ROFL so he used EtherKiller and burnt someone's house down? I tried to download that movie clip he has up but there was no video, only sound.

Guy finds out neighbors are jacking his cable & screwing up his internet service in the process. Guy posts a thread on SA, with lots of pictures of the whole setup. Guy runs 120 through their coax. House across the street burns (NOT the cable thieves). Everyone wonders whether the two incidents are related.

Guys TV and Internet go down. Calls cable company for repair. Fixed it, but say neighbors hooked into his box and it's causing it. A month later, its happening again and cable co hasn't done anything.

To fix their wagon for good, creates an etherzapper (see above description) and installs it late last night.

Gets up this AM, and it appears house across the street burnt down.
Coincidence? Maybe.. still evolving.

No, wrong house- abandoned one across the street. They authorities don't suspect arson.
