The star can be a bunch of different things, such as:

C = Yet Another Car Thread

G = Yet Another Girl Thread

E or W = Yet another Workout / Exercise Thread

and others. YAGT and YACT are by far the most common.

I don't know about the AT specific webpage, but acronym finder has never let me down. It has all of the AOLspeak acronyms and even the YAGT, YACT acronyms.
