Hi Zuni,

I don't if I have said it before but you are doing a great job. And I'm not sucking it up either. I mean it.

The latest addition to people without cookies(PWC :)) shows that you care about your users. Even though I leave my cookies on(delete them on reboot), I think that giving users a choice is the way to success.

Ok, now here is my suggestion for the new feature. How about having the name/password feature for the PWC also be a login feature.

I knocked my head around a while today trying to figure out why I had to login every time I posted. Till I realized that none of my preferences were being loaded when I posted the messages.

Unless this is something very time consuming I think the combination of the two logins is helpfull even if redundant.

No idea what you mean, if you are logged in using the normal login method then you are not asked to enter a username and password in when posting. Makes perfect sense to me.

Yes, you are right. The normal login works as always.

But the login that comes when you decide to reply to a thread has changed. I don't know about others but that's the one I always used.

Earlier on you said you did that for the people that didn't have their cookies on.

I'm not saying that it doesn't make sense. It just didn't make sense to me at first because I didn't know how much it had changed.

Since the login is for people without cookies, it is understandable that you didn't set it up as a full login as well. But it would be nice to be able to have a full login that way in case the person has their cookies on and is loging in thru the thread reply.

With allow non cookie posting turned on it has to work this way, there is a button on the menu if people wish to login normally. It doesnt make any sense to change it. What we may do is put a check box to set the cookie or not.
