Anyone remember when Saddam's Iraq and the fanatical Iran both hated America, but were both too busy hating on each other to do anything about us? And we spent our military/contractor mega billions elsewhere? Man, those were the days.

Actually, during the 80's Iraq was om our side and we considered them as our friends. They even sent a couple Exocet missiles into the USS Stark back in 1987 killing three dozen Americans in the process and we didn't bitch slap them for it.
