Rest is just pointless arguing about who's perceived to handle defects more honorably.

IMO, info like this should be noted for people who own the parts to be aware of, not cause for "I heard the customer service reps for Brand X are being terse, I will surely purchase Brand Y in days to come!" type nonsense.
