Thousand Oaks to LAX at 9:30am, How long does it take?

I know nothing about Los Angeles traffic.
I have to go from Thousand Oaks off the Ventura Freeway to Los Angeles International. Streets and Trips says its 38 miles from here to the airport. Can I hope to get there by 10:30am tomorrow morning if I leave at 9:30am or is traffic so bad that I should give myself several hours to get there?

LA traffic is always bad, esp on the weekdays. I would give yourself some extra room there.

you'll be leaving after the morning rush hour but there will still be some slow downs since you'll be driving down the 405S which is horrible around the Getty, UCLA area. It shouldn't take you more than 1.5 hours. Have fun.

Made it with plenty of time to spare. Traffic wasn't too bad fortunately.
