Hey,
I'm a casual gamer.. Have a gamecube.. Yeah.. Ok.. Stop laughing.. I said.. Stop.. It was a gift.. Really.. I was thinking about getting a PS2 to do some "mature" gaming but am regretting buying tech that's already like 3 years old.. Should I just get a nice video card for the same money? Any thoughts? I've been itching to play Vice City but I heard it's going to eventually come out on PC .. hmmm.. How should I spend this weeks unemployment check?
 
Keep in mind you need a 1 ghz + pc if you wanna take advantage of the new video cards as well as a 8x agp port. But definately if your a gamer get the video card. You'll be happier.
 
Thanks for the advice.. I'm getting my new 2.4b processor/motherboard tomorrow.. I'm itching for a 9700 pro myself but that's currently not in my budget.. Are pc games ever going to look as good as some of the stuff I've seen on the x-box?
 
Unreal 2K3 in my opinion looks better than some xbox games..of course i have a 9700 pro but yes PC games are coming along. .....Nice overclocking processor..still like my 2500+ barton better tho
