This latest layout sucks, pure and simple.

The giant blue ad banners are incredibly obnonxious and unecessary. The tabs at the top are useless and you could afford to lose them. Also, the menu on the left is redundant. I much preferred the old drop-down menu.

At 1024x768, I now have loads of negative space on the left.

Now, the forums appear more cluttered and disorganized. Essentially, you've accomplished the exact opposite of what your intended.

It sucks, guys; it really does.

(And why does the poll list so few options?)

I hate this. Everything in the old one was better.
i agree 100% :(

It isn't streamlined like the old like it was. My eyes don't know where to focus and it is just distracting.

What's up with the poll? Talk about slanted!! All the options are "I like it..." Where's "If it ain't broke don't fix it. Go back to the old board" ? lol

LOL. Download FireFox from here then after installed, click on Tools--> Options --> Extensions --> Get New Extensions --> find AdBlock, click install. Now, restart FireFox. When you get back to Anandtech, highlight the ads you don't want to ever see again with a right click, and select AdBlock Image. Poof. No more ads. Can't get rid of the blue gobs...but it's the best we can do for now. ;)
