Thoughts on this off-brand laptop?

Laptop

I am sure this is just a rebadged system, but from who? I am looking for a gaming laptop and this one look pretty good. Ya people talk about the Dell 9100 or that eMachine from BB, but this one looks just as powerful, but for less money. I have bought from this company before, pretty good, but never anything this large. Thoughts?

Looks to be a fine lappy now who makes it before them i can't say. They may build them so it may not be re baged. Wait the next few weeks and c what comes out. The new E may be better n cheaper u never know.

I agree.....it looks like a real nice laptop. $1550 with all the goodies plus the 128Mb Radeon 9600 Pro and the option to add on a 3.2 prossie looks like an excellent deal.

I have dealt with this company before on a smaller scale also. They usually have some interesting products....I've only heard some complaints from their overclocked systems but that could have been user error also. Its not a widely known company but if you feel comfortable getting your hands dirty around a PC, then I'd take the chance with this one. Again, it also depends on your need for a laptop right now too.

This looks to be a pretty nice system, I have not heard of the company before though.
Another option might be the E-Machines M680X series, though. The 7 comes with a DVD-RW for about the same price as this lappy.
The Emachine only has 64MB ATi 9600 though.
