Thoughts on the new HP Spectre x360 vs XPS 13?

So HP just refreshed the x360 with smaller bezels and Kaby Lake and it looks pretty spiffy. I'm in the market for an ultrabook like form factor, and I'm heavily debating between this and the XPS 13. Honestly if I could just get something that was 14 inches or smaller, sub 3.2 pounds, and that had 16 gigs of RAM I'd be a happy person, but that appears to come at a huge premium for all laptops.

The XPS 13 can't convert to a tablet.

They get you if want 16GB. For example on a Lenovo X1 you need to upgrade the CPU all the way first. that means $250 for nothing (6600u vs 6500u) and then you get 16gb as an option.

Go for spectre cox it also converts into a tablet and is much premier in looks than xps

I'm in the same boat. I was just about to buy the XPS but the X360 has been slimmed down and for the same pirce ~$890, the X360 gets me a touch, convertible screen, 256hd - sligthly smaller battery and no precision trackpad.
