How are they? I am replacing a 5150 that I am sick of messing with and want this new laptop for school (Computer/Software Engineering + Business/Math Minor).

Was looking at this 3880-V

It seems to be a nice laptop (spec wise) that will do what I need (Programming/Presentations etc) and will get me through the rest of school.

So my main question is, how is everyones experience with Sager laptops, my 5150 was 1 year and 2 months old before it decided to crap out on me and am very reluctant to drop another 1500 bux on something that might die on me again 🙁. So any information on these sager laptops would be appreciate.

P.S. I am making a decision in the next few hours on what to get 🙂.
 
Sager is supposed to be a pretty good brand, although not incredibly well known. I have worked on a few, and i didnt like them at all. They had a couple nifty design featurs, but they seemed cheap.
 
i got one used that was about a year old or so. its now about 2 years old. Screen is great, and runs with no flaws except one-the graphics card is complete toast-it wont run any 3d apps. its a big laptop but its got a nice screen and seems to run well all the time.

with their upgrade policy- i would reccommend, for 2 years old, this guy is still holding its own.
