Thoughts on pedophilia.

I agree with the basics of this. HOWEVER, not ALL pedophiles watch child porn...as was already pointed out, many pedophiles never act on their urges...

BUT, I DO agree that anyone who physically molests a child should be put to death...and those who possess child porn should be SEVERELY punished...up to and including the death penalty.
 
True abuse of children (adults taking advantage of kids under 12 by doing things that can actually harm/impact them) should be dealt with harshly when absolutely proved. Lesser things, like a 24yr old teacher and a 17yr old willing student, stories which involve no actual acts, two teenagers making out, or anything else 'invented' should not be included, or in any way criminalized.

Surely you've seen murder,robbery, and videos of other illegal acts on Youtube and the news. Should seeing that be illegal also?

Do you believe the government should punish thought crimes, and control what you can watch and read?

Should we have a ministry of truth censor all the bad things that happen? Those pictures and videos of the holocaust are awful. Should they all be outlawed and destroyed?

What is your angle when you are going to defend someone with 100+ videos stored on their hard drive of adults having sex with minors, esp those pre-pubescent?

Is this a thought crime to you?

tbh that is the one angle that makes child pornography impossible to endorse legalization of. Children don't get raped in public to be recorded by passers-by and uploaded to the internet. It's the worst invasion of privacy possible.
 
We aren't defending people who act upon these urges, just the people who are pedophiles in thought. A 25 year old male sees a 16 year old and thinks about her in a sexual manner, if it were found out this man had these thoughts should he now be locked up or charged with a sexual offense?

That's not a pedophile. Pedophillia specifically refers to the attraction to pre-pubesent minors.

One of the reasons crime videos are released is to identify the parties involved.

You think certain kinds of videos should be kept private, even though it may mean allowing the crimes to continue unsolved?
