Any thoughts on the following?

LITEON Black 16X DVD-ROM INT E-IDE OEM W/ SW DVD PLAYER
In Stock 8522 $28.51 $28.51

And an Antec P180, purchased locally... (shipping one of those halfway across the country... expensive) and a DVD burner to be purchased later...

I basically just want a very stable, non-overclocked, dual core system for both gaming and non-gaming purposes...

In particular, any thoughts on that board? Would the $50 extra for an Asus A8N-E instead (yes, I know, it's not SLI, but that's not a concern) be money well spent? (Keeping in mind my criteria is stability, NOT overclockability)

Also, is the stock HSF going to drive me nuts noise-wise?

Seasonic 500W is $50 (CAD) more... hard to justify, I'm afraid, unless you have good reasons?

I'm deliberately NOT buying a DVD burner now because I would expect there to be big sales on those on boxing day (Dec. 26, for our friends south of the border); last year, BenQ was the massively discounted brand.

And as for the RAM, I'd be buying 2x512... at $52 (CAD) each. If you know a place selling gig DIMMs for $80 (CAD), I'd love to hear about it :)

Oops, I just realized that was unclear... This is supposed to be TWO of those DIMMs, not one.
