Wtf?

You buy those computers just that your mates can play at your house in LAN?
:D

You should seriously consider Distributed Computing...

yeah i had someone that wanted to do something like that once for rendering graphics for animations and trailers
this was when i had a 2.33ghz (went a little higher) athlon and the 600

he had a P3 700 or something and was sick of waiting a week to render stuff

also i do linux administration (for fun? heh) and at one time i had over 10 user accounts on one comp of people i just knew
there were a lot of south american dialup people that wanted a always on internet connection for irc and stuff
maybe next time i do this i can start charging a small fee

also i've hosted a few websites, i own d3ath.org and sterlingdesktops.com

i'm definately gonna time seti, 3dmark, and sandra on all these suckers
maybe i'll find a way to make the 600 a bit faster so that person won't be so dissadavtaged if i do invite some people over for a lan party

i'm having a kegger later this month so this should be fun
also my uncle's 1700+ kt333 radeon 8500 256mb pc2700 is on the same lan
