thoughts on IBM NetVista X41 w/ 17" flat panel

I have the opportunity to pick up a NetVista X41 w/ 17" flat panel for around $900. Here are the specs:

What are your impressions of the NetVista line of computers? This machine will mainly be used for web browsing and accounting work w/ QuickBooks Pro. How upgradeable are these?

Like many of IBM's products...it will last long past you die...It just isn't the fastest product


For $900 I say take it

The pc itself is beautiful, so it isn't an eyesore either



Think of it as a capable Imac
