I've bought from this company in the past. I've used the hypnosis Funeral Calm to deal with my mom's funeral a few years ago. I've never been to a funeral before and I wanted to go there without feeling anxious. It worked. Now, I don't know if it was me just wanting it to desperately work. I was calm and made it thru the funeral without any issues.

What drew me to hypnosis was my dad's positive experience he had with it about 25 years ago. During this time he was smoking 2-3 packs of cigarettes a day. He wanted to desperately stop this nasty habit. He tried going cold turkey, the patch and anything else you could imagine with no luck. His last resort was hypnosis. There was a lady in our area who was performing hypnosis on people for all kinds of issues. My dad was hypnotized by this lady. When it was over, he paid for the visit and left the building. When he was outside he located the nearest trash can and threw away his pack of cigarettes he had in his upper pocket. He hasn't had a cigarette again. He's never touched a cigarette since then and has zero desire to ever pick up smoking. Pretty amazing for someone who was a chronic smoker.

Anyway, I'm looking at a few audio downloads to listen to this week. At $14.95 a pop they are a tad expensive, but if they work then IMO it's worth it.

It's a placebo. It only works if you think it works. What you've accomplished with it you've done entirely on your own.

It really works. Just look at the longevity of the World's Best Joke thread.

If it doesn't work then why was Herr Kutz peeling his clothes off every time someone sneezed?

I think it's up to the person.

If you go in skeptical then it's probably not going to work. If you go in with an open mind, hypnosis might have a better chance of working.

If you go in with an open mind that having your scrotum pierced by samurai sword will get you to stop smoking then it can work. But it's not the hypnosis or the piercing that's working. The same effect would be produced no matter what the subject believed.

Agreed, but to have any method at all that helps people with their mental hangups means it's worth trying for those that have run out of options. Not guaranteed, but enough problems are "mind over matter" that it's worth a shot, especially for addiction.
