Thoughts on honors thesis?

At present, I'm a senior (by credits -- I feel like a junior though) in my undergrad at UCF. I'm doing double degrees - one in Political Science and one in Economics. The end product will be Law School.

Now, having said that, I am considering doing an honors thesis. The topic isn't clear, I would like to do something in game theory, nor is my commitment to the tome. A professor I was talking with explained that it would not only help me overall by doing this but it would look good on a grad school application. I tend to agree and come to my peers to ask for their insights. My only reservation is that I would spread myself too thin -- 15 credit hours, 20hr week job (very simple PT job), GF. I think this is a little unfounded because I feel that I can push myself harder and the tome would REALLY help with my procrastination (honestly, it's bad). I believe that I can finally rid myself of this crutch with just a little push and the thesis would present the perfect opportunity to see what I'm made of. Overall, I'd like to do it and I suppose I'm just psyching myself out.

Any thoughts?

I did an honours thesis my final year at university. My major was economics, and the topic I chose was a statistical analysis of various theories of international trade. I spent about 150 hours of my time on researching and writing the paper. Would I do it again? Yes, as it got me job interviews I would not have otherwise been granted, and it was also a tremendous learning experience.

In my case, the topic had to be related to my major, so game theory wouldn't have qualified.

Should I have specified "economic game theory?" I thought it was implied.
