Awful? Passable for an 82 year old gent to simply replace the onboard TV speakers he's currently using? The speakers would be used in stereo....no HT setup.
Alternatively, am looking at a few inexpensive bookshelf speakers, like giving him my old pair of Mission 70 bookshelf speakers, but then I'd have to replace them as they're being used for my computer speakers.
