1) Unless you are a great photographer with great lighting and great equipment, you should avoid overhead photos of food. They usually just don't look as appetizing. Check out this example, the food at 90° is flat, dull, and unappetizing (almost like vomit in a bowl). But the food at an angle has depth and reflections, and reduces the vomit looking effect. Your best photo was the desert photo where the angle of the desert does make it far more appealing to eat.
2) The lighting just doesn't come off right. Especially the light reflections off the meat. Some of the photos the meat is the star, but really you can barely see it under the reflection.
3) Half the photos are quite out of focus.
4) I agree, not enough vegetables. And not enough variety for me. Meat and rice is good. But that was basically half of what you ate.
