Hey Guys, I just noticed these sweet MD (MP3) Walkmans listed in the Futureshup flyer. Does anyone own one or have any review links? I'm looking for some feeback about them as I'm considering purchasing one.

Thanks,
Thorin

Thanks for the link I'll check it out.

Specifically I'm looking at this model:
MZN 505S

Futureshop has it listed for $249.00 with 3 blank MDs.

it's a canadian chain of electronics stores.

I'm considering purchasing the same unit myself, but right now it looks like NetMD is still on its baby legs. The unit itself looks pretty good, but this article discusses the problems of NetMD right now. I found it to be quite helpful.

i purchased the NetMD 505 from future shop. it works good...only knock is that i wish it just supported MP3s instead of having to convert the files into another format. it only hold around 3-4 albums at 192 kps. but the disks are cheap and it takes around 1-1.5 hour to transfer data via the usb 1.1 port. I don't have the lastest 2.0 version. I haven't tried transferring regular music from cds.

well, in case you are looking for alternatives, I'll suggest this one to you.

One caveat would be that its larger than an MD, but its also cheaper. Check it out.

just to clarify.. the NetMD's (more specifically MDLP)... hold 2x/4x as much time when using lp2/lp4. usually lp2 is for audio.. lp4 is only good for text.
