Will this board operate ok with pc2700 ram for now?

I was going to pair this board with this processor:
Intel Pentium D 805 Smithfield 2.66GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Dual Core,EM64T Processor - Retail

This seemed much cheaper than the dual core options by AMD.

I have 1 gig of pc2700 memory I'd like to use if possible. I know that it would help to upgrade to ddr2 (this board supports both kinds) - but I'm looking to get by for now.

Also - will my fortron source 350 watt powersupply power all of this just fine? I just have 1 optical and 1 harddrive.

I'm trying to upgrade my barton 3000 system cheaply.
