Thought on Battlefield 2?

I agree to that it can aggravate my very hands to the point of smashing a keyboard or two but there's something that makes me not want to turn it off. I think that's a good reason why most people love it. When you're in a good squad that has voice chat, competent squad leaders and commander, it becomes one of the best games ever made. It's real up to a point where it sacrifices realism for balance and fun. It also gives people a sense of accomplishment when you have fun.
 
Well I'm an adult with a job and a real life. Finding a good team is impossible at this point in my life.

well I find these squads every 2~3 games over a month or two as I only play one or two short weekends a month at most. You might get lucky sometime on those servers man! I used to play ET with a bunch of my ex-clannies over in europe; the BF2 server I love to play on is that one, even if they aren't on. Maybe I should show you how much fun you can really have sometime? I understand it that you may not have as much free time as I do but as long as you're having fun..

Also to avoid aggravation I tend to stay away from vehicle heavy maps as those are almost pure deathmatches. If you go air you can get shot down rather easily by other jets/helis/AA and if you're on the ground you're going to get bombed. Sharqi/Mastuur/Karkand and even Wake Island aren't bad to play on as they rely more on tactics and good squads. Not to say the other maps don't need good squads but they are the ones I find myself very frustrated on.

It is now the COMPLETE opposite of invulnerability for flying in jets. I used to never get shot down by SAMS, now, it is way too easy to be shot down by them. But of course, EA is making ANOTHER patch, to fix the acuracy the SAMS. For heli's, i guess it's about the same.
 
yeah, I think cs is easier to die than battlefield 2, cs is def. harder than battlefield 2 by far, I hardly get kills in cs, but in bf2 I'll typically get 20+ kills per match, idk, bf2 is my kind of game and I do find cs boring because it's too frusterating.
 
Hands down best vehicle based multiplayer FPS out. Extremely versatile gameplay, decent ranking system and the servers are better moderated than cs servers in general.

Rock on, bf2 is better than halo.
 
I think BF2 is rather fun to play. I've never had any major issues, but glad they are getting around to patching some issues.

The Special Forces add-on was a waste of money. It should have been free or a $10 download.
 
BF2 is awesome! I have been playing FPS games since Quakeworld. There is so much you can do in the game, which keeps it fresh.

The only bad thing is the coding. ID Software games run circles around Dice in terms of quality.

But other than the bug issues I find the game very cool!

How is adding 3 new armies, lots of new unlocks, and entirely new gameplay and maps not worth the money? Few expansions are that full of content. Unless you mean European Forces, now that's not worth 2 bucks.
