thought microsoft had ended windows xp support

i thought microsoft had ended windows xp support but for last two months i have received windows malicious software removal tool when i update my copy of windows xp in september and now in october. my copy of windows xp sp3 was bought along time ago now and i still get updates. it's just a normal version of windows xp which has not had the XP.reg thing done.

Yeah, i still have a XP machine & the malicious software removal tool is there whenever i happen to check for updates. I know MS had some updates for XP after they said support ended so i check every now & again still.

Does anyone know for sure... if one was to do a fresh install of XP are all the old updates still there to be downloaded? I've heard they are still available but just wondered.
