whatever's best for the situation. If you want a laptop with the maximum battery life and good performance: intel.

If you want a powerful desktop gaming macine: AMD

etc....

I like AMD better, currently, because they seem to have had better prices for better performance.

I'm the same, I use both and could care less either way.

I tend to favor towards AMD's prices.

I started with AMD. Switched to INTEL because AMD's were getting super hot, even with custom heatsinks fans.
Now I'm back to AMD. I don't listen to anybody, I just go with my guts on what I think is better, + I read reviews on both issues.

danny~!

The reason for my signature is to annoy. Gives people problems with their display, gives 'em head aches, and best of all, seizures.

LOL, I will change it when my life gets better.

Both AMD and Intel
All of the computers I built myself (3 of 'em) used AMD chips because they are cheap and fast. All of the computers I've bought, a DELL Dimension 8300 3E GHz and a DELL Inspiron 700m, have Intel chips because that's what DELL put in them and DELL has some hot deals.
