Those who stare at a comp 8hrs a day and drink coffee...do you often get headaches??

I'm starting to think the coffee may have something to do with it too. That or my eyes staring at the screen 8hrs a day 7 days a week that's killing me. Not to mention that I haven't had my eyeglasses changed in over 4 years to boot.

I hate noise too. Too much noise surrounding me or I get calls where the lines are just horrible, or background noise, or people screaming in my ear and my god my day will just drag on with a minor headache. Then every 3-4 weeks or so it seems I'll get hit with the big one.

Do you think it would be possible if I applied for a position change within the business to somewhere else where computer use is reduce and I get more in direct contact with the customers? I work at a bank call centre and am thinking about switching to the branch. But then the branch would probably turn me down cause of my frequent absences. 🙁

Could be the lighting.. I used to get that when I would have natural light and indoor lighting on at the same time with the computer screen.

i get them once in a while ... nothing major. I think i get them after i drink a lot of it though.

i don't drink coffee

i sit in front of a computer 10-14 hours/day

i rarely get headaches, it is usually when i don't drink enough water

..life got better when I put the crt's out at the curb and got flat panels..the coffee was always good. No need to mess wit that.

If you haven't already, demand an LCD. Also, flourescent lights are torture on the body.

<--- is very glad that the fluorescent lights above his cubicle stopped working a couple months ago, and will not report it to anyone
