Thats the problem, at least for a hardcore PC gamer. It plays on the PC not the way it was intended to be played, the previous titles was developed on the pc to be played on the pc and it worked well and all was good. This time they have (from a good buisness point of view, and is the case with big developers these days) taken the console route and the PC version suffers for it. Consoles are where the money is, i can accept that, but i dont give a toss about the money, i only care for good PC games and this aint one.
If they had taken 2 months or some extra time and optimized the graphics engine & changed the interface a little to suit the keyboard and mouse i would have said "yeah this aint to bad of a game"
The funny thing is, today while picking up oblivion from my store, i picked up operation flashpoint for a fiver. This 5 year old game with half life standard graphics, to me, far exceeds a so called "next generation" game.
It seems to me if you want good old pc hardcore'ism, Indie games will be the only way to go.
