As much space inside as an Accord, Camry, Altima, 335, es 350, TL?

I really like them trying to find time to go look and drive one.

I don't own one, but it's in the same class as the IS, 3 series, C-class, CTS, etc. The TL, Accord, Camry, Altima and ES350 are similar in size to eachother, AFAIK.

EDIT: Basically, the second group contains larger cars.

it's bigger than the IS and 3 series, which have cramped backseats. the G35 and CTS have decent sized backseats, more like regular midsize sedans (which is what they are, after all). the backseat of the G35 is almost the same as the ES350, a little bigger here, a little smaller there.

edit: 3 series has gotten bigger, backseat is the same for pretty much all of them

Yes. The back seat seems fine for 2 adults as well. The 3 series and IS250/350 to me are the least spacious. The CTS is closer to the 5 series as far as space goes.

Should be fine. Even my 3 series would be fine with this, and it has somewhat less rear room than a G35. I don't think either would be ideal if you were regularly carrying two adults in back for significant trips, but for kids - A-OK.

G35 is slightly smaller than a TL, though most would probably call it "comparable".

Neither of them would sit an adult comfortably behind a tall driver.

I have it, and I think I would call it "slightly smaller" than an Accord. I am fairly tall, and I would not want to have a friend behind me for more than an hour or two for his sake. They would survive a day-long road trip, but it would not be in ultimate comfort.

That said, is it a pretty practical car, unless you plan on hauling 4-5 adults around on a daily basis.

I loved the G35. If my wife had let me decide without her, I'd be driving one (and paying a little more, because the mpg isn't that good).

Don't drive it unless you know you want one...you'll love the experience. :)
