The seats will still sell out. Kobe is enough of a show to do that. Perhaps he'll average 30 + points a game this season

Yeah, without Shaq he has even more reason to hog the ball. I predict he'll be shooting 20/50 during some games this season.

I'll enjoy watching them get run this next season.

well Kobe will either sink or swim, the team performs well and he will be a media darling.

they fvck up and it will be his fault that the lakers broke up and Shaq was the one who really carried the team.

The media already put him at fault for doing that...

For the life of me I don't get the logic behind Kobe. This guy "could" go to prison for rape. And with that very real possibility, I don't see the logic behind the move of letting Shaq go.

It's not the media, he did it all himself.

shaqs got about 3 good years left in him, by then he won't be worth as much as now. i'm a big kings fan and its sad to see vlade go play for the enemies but with 2x the money of what sac was offering vlade, the business side prevailed. at any rate vlades only got one more season left in him. that was the reason we traded for miller. i don't know what to make of osterfag as backup center yet.

Sure, as soon as you give me some proof.

Oh wait, you have none other than your speculation.

He wouldn't pass the ball to Shaq in the playoffs. He'd rather shoot 17/32 instead.

Right, and that automatically is what caused Shaq to be traded.

Not Shaq's diminishing performance. (You point out this past finals, I will point out the past 4 seasons.)
Not his poor off-season work ethic. (20% body fat?!)
Not his demand for an extension (Yes, yell at your boss to "pay me" in public and tell me what happens.)
Not his selfish nature. (He said it himself... "my team".)
Not his attention whoreness. (He wouldn't accept that it's time for the team to move towards Kobe.)

But right. Kobe said to get rid of Shaq because he wouldn't pass the ball to Shaq in the FINALS.

A Shaq + Kobe + bunch of scrubs combo couldn't do it the past 2 years, it's obvious it won't be working again. So you choose between Shaq and Kobe, and you go w/ the younger one who is the best player in the NBA.

WEll I guess I can change my post. The judge just ruled that the girl's sex activities in the days before the so called encounter can be admitted along with all the dna evidence. He even stated that the evidence calls into question the girl's credibility.
