Those of you with widescreen monitors + Radeon cards...

Was wondering if any of you have a widescreen monitor and a Radeon card, if so, can you get 1600x1024 to work?

I'm looking at buying the RADEON X800 XT. ATI's specs say it will do 1920x1080 but the wide resolution that fits my monitor is 1600x1024 (I have the Sony GDM-FW900).

ATI's site says that other resolutions may work depending on the driver and OS. I've run high end and low end Nvidia cards on this monitor with 1600x1024 and all have worked. This is my first time buying an ATI. Anyone out there running an ATI in widescreen I'd appreciate your feedback. Thanks.
