my comp just died last night. after failure to post, the computer will no longer power up at all... however, the power seems to be there with the indicator lights lighting up on the PS and motherboard. haven't figured out the culprit yet.

the PS has an amber colored light... however, i can't remember if it supposed to be amber or not... can anyone with a similar or same PS check for me?

My model is the Silverstone SST-ST56ZF 560W.

My silverstone Zeus 650 is like 4 years old.

It has no lights.

But it's still a beast :)

(Aside from having to split 12v rails for video cards, since they put both pci-e express cables on the same rail  )

I do hope you get your issue resolved. Bricked components leaves one with a rather shitty feeling.

pick up a psu tester and test it.

Thats the easiest way to tell if your psu is good or bad.

Sames. Expect mines 5 years and it's a ST60F.
