I recently decided to pull my SB Audigy out of my computer and use the nvidia SoundStorm on board sound. When I went to hook up the sound cables for my DVD and CDRW I noticed that there is only one analog audio hook up on the motherboard. I was hoping that there would be atleast two analog audio hook ups let along maybe a digital one too. What have you guys done since there is only one hook up?

Which comes to a good point.
Why do we need those analog connectors anyways?
I've found that I can listen to all my cds w/o them.

I recently switched over from using a SB Audigy to the onboard nVidia SoundStorm. Does anyone know why I cannot adjust the bass and trebble controls (even when using an analog output.....I would only expect to not be able to use them if I was outputting a digital signal)

Because instead of the bass and treble controls, you get a graphic equalizer as part of the Soundstorm control panel which allows for much more specific adjustment...

Edit:

Also, as long as you are using a recent OS, there is no need for those audio cables anymore as the sound comes over the IDE cable digitally nowadays...
