Those of you with a KT133 (or KT133A) motherboard ...

I am seriously considering dropping some money on an Athlon system right now (can't wait any longer). However, the DDR boards sound interesting (but when will I be able to get one and when will they be stable ...) So I am considerring a motherboard that has that new KT133A chipset in it. According to the review on this site, it supports the 133FSB of the newer Athlons (need 266 mhz bus f/ upgrade to DDR later on). But, I can't seem to find any boards with this chipset in it. So next I move back to the KT133 chipset. Before I go ahead with buying one, I want to know from anyone who has it, wheter it can reach 133FSB so I can buy a newer Athlon (266mhz ... ). So can it reach that high? If so, what boards work?

I don't think i've ever heard of someone hitting a 133fsb on a KT133 board so i guess the answer is NO, they won't reach that high of an fsb speed (most people use an fsb speed of 100-115 when overclocking). If you can wait a tad longer, the MSI K7T Turbo KT133A board will be out. Check that board out on their website, i'm planning on building a system around that motherboard in the near future.

I'm also planning on getting the MSI K7T Turbo but am worried by the review at this link: http://www.overclockers.com/tips295/ In "The Cranky K7TPro2A"
Ed Stroligo says he tested the K7TProA board and basicly feels that around 10% of them not stable and too much trouble to setup- 12/28/00
In case he is right and I get 1 of the 10 percenters can anyone recommend a good dealer to RMA back to before I buy?

not exactly a glowing review...however most other reviewers have given that board excellent reviews.
