Charter

Around $40.00

I'm just curious because my sis says she just got 10mbps cable along with Basic Cable tv for around $70..... Seems too good to be true or it's just an awesome price!!

1) Time Warner RoadRunner
2) Rated at 5mbps down and 384k up. Depending on the server, I've hit 800KB+ sustained, downloads are usually around 650-700KB. It helps that I'm the only one on the block with cable. Everyone else has NSA DSL.
3) $43.00

When will ppl understand that this is a myth. I live in an apartment I know 80% of the folks here have comcast. thats like saying cuz everyone has cable tv, your cable reception sucks.

Same

Wanted to switch to DSL for a little break on the price but since I dont have a landline phone I would have to pay for that too, so the price difference would be minimal

Charter bumped our standard speed to 5meg in central Wisconsin. I can't really give a definite price since it's part of a bundle. They also have 10meg.

Charter's promotional price on digital tv and 5meg is $70 where I live.

So I'm getting shafted by Charter by paying $40./mth for 3mb?

Oh, they said come Feb 1st '08, my bill is going up about $9.00!!!!!!!
+$8.45 for the Big Value Package
+$.50 for use of the cable card

My next Total bill will be $135.06
Tv-- Basic+Digital+HD+....Showtime/Flix/Encore (Last 3 was a $5.00/mth for a year special for like 15 movie channels) = $73.15

Internet-- $43.00 for 3mb and Home Networking services for $9.99 = $53.98

Total after taxes/fees = $135.06

This is getting crazy. I'm thinking about going back to Basic and watch the HD DVD movies I have. This would drop at least $30.-$40. off the bill..... But then again, HD movies are $10.-$30. a pop!
