Last semester I worked 25 but quickly dropped it to 15-20 because I worked till 1-2am and got little sleep and anyways I hated the job (McDonalds). This semester I haven't found a part-time job, but when I do I can fit 25 hours in my schedule much easier because I have fridays off ;)

18-20 credits every OTHER 6months

My school has a 5 yr prog.

6mnths. school
6mnths. work in your field

I work for the school's Department of Public Safety. Basically, I drive around in a car and help people when they get locked out or need a jump start. I also write parking tickets.

For $8.50/hr. it's a great job.

haha.. bastard. Most jobs here pay $7 (Canadian!) which is what, 4.50 US or something?

Anyways.. how the hell can you guys do 40 hour work weeks on top of school? Especially if you are doing another 30 in school itself, .. I guess if you live at school it isn't nearly as bad cause you save the transport to and from school, but still!

I have it pretty easy this semester. I'm only taking 12 credit hours, and working about 20 hours a week at work. I work for a local ISP and do technical support, DNS/domain administration and FreeBSD/Linux server maintenance and upkeep. I'm basically the sysadmin's bitch being the next down in command (Senior Tech), but it's a pretty easy job. I've been working there for about 3 years now and I love it, though it does have its times once and a while.
