I gotta quick question. Somebody in these forums was saying that they ordered individual plans and phones w/ those make money deals. For example say make $100 for buying T720 from amazon. And then after they submitted all the rebates and everything, they said they just combined the two lines. For example $39.99 plan w/ $9.99 for additional line. Can you do this?!?! Anybody tried it?

soo... you're saying order two phones with like $100 back each with two lines, then combine them as one family-type plan for one or two years in order to make the extra $100?

Ummm.....I think so, except order two phones w/ $100 back each w/ their own line and then combine them for a family plan to make the extra $100. Possible?

For almost all those deals in order to get the rebates the carriers require you to sign a contract. So I don't know how he did it but it's possible if you can find some way around that.

Well, if it was possible, you'd lose $20 over a year. $9.99 for a second line over 12 months is more than you'd get from the phone in the first place.
