I had to reset my online account access for my mortgage and called them up to do it.

To verify my identity the guy asked for my full SSN. I was taken back because I have never heard of people asking for full SSN before. Usually it is just the last 4 digits. Now I am worried...

Anyone else been asked for full SSN over the phone?

They usually just ask for the last 4 digits. But now they are asking for account balances and credit limits etc. Sometimes I dont feel like I am me since its hard to remember all the details.

If you're not comfortable, you might be able to just give them the last 4.
