Okay. Just coming out and saying it. I Love Japan (I'm Korean). However, I also think that the Japanese people are crazy, in a cool/ good way. However I think this just raised my craziness Scale about 50 points.

If you want to know. The song they dance to is from Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) Great Anime by the way.

Actually, at the End, I love how about 100 people just ran into the doughnut shop.

PS. The doughnuts there are awesome, even though I hate doughnuts

Best animated dance video I've seen so far. :) The guy to the right of the screen wearing a mask in the cosplay video really had some fluid moves. Hahaha!

There been a million of public dances, but I don't think there's ever been this one that big. I wonder how they organized it.

Now that I think about it, I've seen worse. Youtube "Japanese game show" They are hilarious. "Silent library" and the tongue twister one are personal favorites.

Now are the people just better behaved than us in general or do you just not want to **** with the cops over there?

I've seen some variations of stuff centered around this dance (like a remake of it using Megaman and company) but really don't know the reference. I'm really not up on my anime.

Better behaved in General. Probably because of strict schools and parents. Trust m, you do NOT want to get into trouble over there

the reason why its so safe over there is really because of two things.

1. Society. You listen to your parents, you stay in line, you dont speak out, you dont generally do bad things.

2. The police and judicial system. They are a lot more strict over there then in the US. The conviction rate is 99.9%. Yeah...you get caught...your ******. Lets say you do something wrong or even look like you are doing something wrong the police can put you in jail for like 20 something days without a lawyer...you are just there. For instance...I have a friend there that owns a few clubs in roppongi. He got arrested, his clubs shut down, and his books looked into on his house and cars just because they felt like it. This guy was doing nothing wrong.

Sounds bad...but keep it in mind...if you arnt doing drugs and dont steal stuff...its the safest city in the world. I have walked down the darkest alley at 3 in the morning in the supposed "bad part" or "red district" part of town and I am not even a little bit scared. I would carry 400 bucks down any alley no worries

Agreed. Being raised a bit in C(K)orea, I can safely tell you I have experianced these.

However, in Japan, there is one thing you have be wary of. Don't mess with people in colored suits. I bypassed 5 blocks in Osaka because the alleyways had people in Colored suits hanging around.

Yakuza FTW
