Anyone seen those commercials that allow you to buy ATM machines, put them in certain types of stores, and whenever someone withdraws money from them you get a certain fee of it?

What's the catch behind it?

And think about the number of stores that DON'T have ATMs. There's not a lot of them out there. So where is your market?

If you could reliably make much more than minimum wage doing it, why wouldn't the ATM company just hire extra people to work for them?

You should always ask yourself this about any franchise "opportunity," work at home job, stock-picking seminar, etc. -- why aren't they using it themselves instead of trying to get you to pay them for the chance to work for them or use their system?

In other words if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

You also have to convince the store owner to let you put your box in their store.

You talking about those all in one ATM machines they show on late night infomercials? The ones with ATM, phone card recharge, and other card services?

Personally I would never do it. These don't even dispense cash I hear. They give you a ticket to take to the counter/cashier to get money.
