I'm not sure he did, but, I'm sure near the "sucker borderline". I see those great prices on "Dual Channel DDR 4000 Platinum Shielded 512mb CAS 2.5 memory, for only $ 66.00
shipped. No name, barely a warranty, but, very cheap. I've read the reviews on people who went for the deals, both on pricewatch.com, and, resellerrattings.com. Not very well at the latter, a bit better on the former, and, this is what keeps me from buying,...but,...
have any of you bought any of this cheap memory, and, felt you've got a bargain?

I firmly believe that you get what you pay for in many things.

I spent the extra coin and went with Kingston Hyper-X. For the extra $50 I spent on it over the noname stuff it's worth the security of not putting poop in an otherwise high quality system.

haha, i've always considered Kingston to be the cheap stuff you put in when you don't care. micron (crucial) and corsair make the good stuff. 🙂

The hyper-x has cult following in the GH forum.
