so i had this 0310w that i had chipped a while ago... i would say that these were two decently sized chips on two of the four corners of the core...

thought i'd stick in to see if it still worked ...

anyone interested in a chipped core 0310w 1700+ that can do 2.4 ghz @ 1.8 volts 🙂

hey!!!

it was an accidental chipping i tell ya...

my water block had some gunk on it that had hardened and when i was putting on this chip, i didn't realize that it was there (though i felt it) and next thing i heard was thing grinding noise...

oh well! it still works... chipped corners and all... 🙂

the 0319 i have is still perfect and the 0304 1800+ is fine as well...

seems like the 0319... i can't find the sweet spot yet... i wish i had another board / video card / ram so that i could just test cpu's out all the time!!!

it sucks having to use my main rig to test cpu's... losing all that precious seti time

touchmyichi u r one lucky guy.. i let you off to have shim's CPU cos u had your PM off and I was too lazy to negotiate with u 😉 😀

To enable your PM, click on "profile" on the top right. Somewhere near the bottom you should see some check boxes. Check the right one!
 
in all my changes of processors the worse i have done is fry them. five of them in a months time


bad powersupply will do that



my 0312 is at 2375 mhz 1.8 volts guess that isnt to bad for a week everybody says wont overclock well. not through testing yet still more room here. 10.5 x 227 fsb
