I have been googling for a bit now and I'll the guides I found were for the palamino core. I am doing the L5 mod to convert two 1700+ T-breds into MPs for my new mobo. My question is if I ca just use a conductive pen and bridge the L5 pins directly or if I need to scrape off a layer first? I've been reading that t-breds have a layer of coating over the bridges now, but none of the unlocking guides mention it. If this is a case, what's the best way to proceed?
