1. A friend and I were sitting on friends lawn one summer, when I was about 10 years old. His older brother was telling one of his friends he had just enlisted in the Navy, and was going over seas. Older brother's friend said: "careful, you could bring back a case of the crabs".
Hehe, we were like, yeah, we want some crabs too!
2. Same friend and I were at his house when his older brother came home on leave. He and a couple buddies were going out. They were so cool, since they were older and had cars. They said they were gonna go downtown and find some bearded clams.
Hehe, we were like, yeah, we want some clams too!
In both cases, we thought back then, at those tender ages, that they were referring to seafood. LOL 😀
