To those who have, congrats. Myself, I haven't had much luck at all; I graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering (economy is way too dry in the mid-west) including 1-1/2 years worth of interning experience. And at the way things look, a part-time job is inevitable for me. Anyways, curious to know how things are working for the rest of you...

Graduated with a B.S. in Telecommunications and about 8 years experience in this field. Current the company I've been with these past years lied to me about taking me in as full time. Whatever.....

My co-workers said I have the rest of my life to work and I should take the summer off.

Will start sending out resume later today when I wake up..

Good luck all.

How the heck do you afford grad right after graduating from college? That's what always surprised me: people checking into grad having no job...

I graduated 3 yrs ago, worked full time since then, and if you ask me if I have enough savings to go into grad and not work - heck, no. Someone has to pay the bills.

That can't possibly cover all your needs. Tuition - maybe. Even so - partially. Loans - yeah, sounds about right, but then you pile up new loans on top of existing college loans...

Graduated with a B.S. in Psychology about a month back, but haven't found anything yet. I'll be heading to grad school in about a year, and will start the job hunting process this week so I have a way to pay off some debt (and earn some more experience) in the meantime.

No, not yet. :( I don't think there's much in South Carolina (at least, not where I live) and I'm not quite sure really how to look for jobs in places where I can't actually go and talk to people.

man I hope for all your sakes (all the fools who are going to grad school and depending on making money afterwards) that you do find a job after you graduate... because I don't think it's going to get better for years....

I'm graduating soon with a BS in Mgmt CompInfoSys, but I'm going to India later this year to find a job. ;)

Seriously though, haven't really started looking yet because i just finished 4 years active duty with the USMC and i'm enjoying my 'terminal leave', which is saved vacation you use to be essentially discharged early while still receiving pay.

I've had a few prospects so far, but don't know how they'll turn out. I almost DON'T want to take them because that means it'll cut my vacation short. =) I'll probably start looking for application/db development jobs in the southern california area in a few weeks...
