Thanks Norm, don't trust the price meaning don't trust the seller? Too good to be true? This guy seems like he is legit. 6 years on Ebay and not one negative feedback.

Yep, that's true... It'll stay low 'till the last hour... Eventually, you'll end up with a card that'll go for $ 80 - $ 90, possibly even more... That's the sad eBay truth...

Dude, there's nothing wrong with 9800Pros, but I'd rather date your grandma than buy a flashed one with modded cooling off Ebay.

Yeah I was kinda worried about that too but one of my friends said he did the same to his 9800Pro with R360 core and it's flawless plus it's like getting a free 9800XT paying pro prices?

I am gonna bid $60 on it but just want to get the opinions of the GURUS here first.

So I won't get it for $60?

You don't know what kind of dumbass fondled with the 9800 Pro's private parts here. The 9800 Pro might be traumatized and you wouldn't know till it was too late.

I see, thanks for the feedback but this guy has a perfect record on EBay and I think for $60, I am willing to risk it. That fan by itself costs like $15 on Newegg so it will only be $45 for the card.

Buying anything used is always a risk, but that looks like a good deal for ~$60 or less. The dudes feedback speaks for itself.

No it's like getting some guy's cheesy OCing experiment.
1. 9800XT was warranted at those speeds, this things warranty is long gone
2. 9800XT had 256MB of faster RAM on it, this thing has 128MB of slower RAM OCd

Your money.

I honestly cant see what the big deal would be... problems with the card, send back to seller.

Not that there should be any problems..

Yah ive never had any problems ordering from a seller with that kind of feedback. Feedback is everything on ebay like seller ratings on websites if they dont provide quality products theres no way there gonna have 100% feedback. I say contact him and ask his terms if the card arrives DOA or damaged, they usually give 30 days or so to inspect the product. You better hurry though theres only 18hrs left.

Looks good enough to pay $60 for... I wouldn't go any higher then that unless the card was in new condition.

No, you should wait until the last 10 seconds to bid. If you bid any earlier, you run the risk of superficially raising the price. Just my $0.02 but I have bought plenty of items on ebay and that is the best way to go, IMO. Good Luck!

wait till maybe 2-3 minutes left and then keep refreshing the page, have your big typed in and ready to enter once it hits one minute then wait a few seconds, keep refreshing. If someone bids higher then keep bidding in small increments but dont go over a price you will be unhappy with.

Dont worry man you'll get em next time. My friend bid on 6800gt's over 7 times in one month until he finally got the price he wanted which was $240. Its not like that artic cooling hsf would have really made a difference in performance anyways although it may be a tad quieter.
